You will find ONE FULL YEAR (plus more, as I continue to add) of weeknight meals. Bake uncovered until the sauce is bubbling and topping turns golden brown, 15-20 minutes. In a small bowl, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter and mix in the 1/2 c. (Thin fillets may take less time, very thick. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily. Pack the crumb mixture over the top and sides of the fish fillets. Mix the melted butter with the breadcrumbs. Pour the mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Crush the Ritz crackers over a bowl they should look like coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in the warm cream and the shredded cheese until it starts to melt. Drain the hot cooked pasta and add to the bowl with the butter and toss to coat. Meanwhile dice 3 tbsp of butter and place in a large mixing bowl (different than the one you'll use to bake the mac & cheese). Cook pasta 1-2 minutes shy of what the package says so it's al dente.

You can also crush the Ritz crackers and shred the Muenster cheese ahead of time.ġ. This is a really quick recipe but to make it even quicker, cook your pasta the night before just al dente (a minute or two before the cooking time listed on the package) then drain and toss with a little olive oil and refrigerate. Baked Mac & Cheese is something you want to serve right away after baking.Adapted from Annie's Eats and found by my friend Emily.Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the top of the casserole appears to be a light to medium brown. Bake in 350oven for about 15-20 min or until fish turns opaque and topping is lightly browned. Brush cod fish loins (skin side) with a thin layer of melted butter and press loins into ritz cracker crumbs and place on a parchment lined sheet pan.

Place the casserole on the top rack of the oven at 350☏. Combine crushed ritz cracker crumbs, parsley, salt and melted butter in a small mixing bowl.

Pour the required amount of milk evenly over the entirety of the casserole to keep it moist while it bakes. Repeat step 4 until the majority of the casserole dish is full, with your last layer being cheese.Ĭrumble Ritz crackers on top of the casserole, making sure not to leave any cheese exposed and to cover all the edges. Add enough sharp cheddar cheese so none of the noodles/onions are left exposed. Stir in the finely chopped onions.Īfter spraying the casserole dish with cooking spray, add a layer of your onion and noodle mix to the dish (about an inch thick). Place the noodles back in the pot afterwards. Allow them to soak for 5 minutes and then drain them again. When they're finished cooking, drain the noodles and put them back in the pot with cold water. Then add elbow noodles to the water, allowing them to cook for 7 minutes at high heat. Then, let a large pot of water come to a boil at high heat.
